Nearly 400 Travel Advocates Lobby Congress in Washington, D.C. for Key Policy Changes and Industry Support
🗺 Nearly 400 travel industry advocates from 49 states met in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Travel’s Destination Capitol Hill on Tuesday and Wednesday. They urged Congress to ensure pay for air traffic controllers and TSA officers during funding lapses, delay changes to the ESTA application, and pass the VISIT USA Act to allocate $160 million to Brand USA. Secretary Sean Duffy, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, and Rep. Mark Amodei were honored for their contributions to the travel industry.
