Maya Romanoff joins the Louvre’s permanent collection
Three of handcrafted wallcovering manufacturer Maya Romanoff‘s collections—Flexi Mother of Pearl, Mother of Pearl Aphrodite, and Ajiro Fanfare—have been selected to join the permanent collection at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre Palace in Paris. This milestone coincides with Maya Romanoff’s 55th anniversary. “This recognition is a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and craftsmanship, and we are thrilled to see our creations showcased alongside the world’s most esteemed decorative arts,” says Maya Romanoff CEO Joyce Romanoff. “Maya would be over the moon. NEWH names Diana Dobin as ICON of Industry
NEWH has announced Diana Dobin, co-CEO and chief sustainability officer at Valley Forge Fabrics, as this year’s NEWH ICON of Industry recipient, announced as part of HD Expo’s Women in Design Awards. A member of NEWH since 1995, Dobin is honored for embodying the ethos of the NEWH ICON of Industry, which celebrates leaders of the hospitality manufacturing industry with more than 30 years of experience. Dobin was recognized for her role as a leader, mentor, and trusted advisor, as well as a champion of sustainable solutions. Dobin will receive the NEWH Icon of Industry Award during the Gold Key Awards gala in New York on November 11th, held in conjunction with BDNY.
