2024 has been a great year for restaurants and bars, with many openings reported across the U.S. We saw a lot of Italian restaurants, each with their own unique twist, along with new concepts like astrology-themed cocktails, mushroom-based menus, and Ecuadorian fusion.
While New York City lay claim to a few, there were dozens around the country that we covered, from Miami to Austin, and D.C. to Denver. In Nashville, we saw a “choose your own adventure”-style format at Fancypants, and in Washington, D.C., an all-day restaurant that starts as a café in the morning before turning into a dinner restaurant in the evening at Ama.
