With the confetti swept away and Christmas trees out the door, it is now time to assess the performance of the French hotel industry. The Christmas and New Year holidays, a key period for the tourism sector, were marked in 2024 by diverse choices from travelers. While some opted for mountain resorts to enjoy favorable skiing conditions, others turned to cities and Paris. This period played a decisive role in the annual performance review, contributing to an overall increase in results across France, although disparities persist between the various segments and destinations.
