The Ruby Group announces a new Lean Luxury hotel in Geneva, developed in partnership with PSP Swiss Property, one of Switzerland’s leading real estate companies. The project is the group’s second hotel in Geneva, its third in Switzerland and its 34th hotel in total.
The Ruby Group continues its growth in Switzerland, announcing plans for a second hotel in Geneva. The new hotel will feature 124 rooms with ground-floor public areas, and is being developed in partnership with long-term partner PSP Swiss Property. The property offers a total gross lettable area of 4,150 m² of former office space and perfectly matches the Group’s focus on high-quality hotel conversions in prime city locations.
The hotel will be located at Rue de Hesse 18, 1204 Geneva: a listed former bank building in the heart of Geneva’s financial district. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Rhône and Ruby Claire Hotel & Bar, the property is on the border of the historic Quartier des Banques and the creative hotspot of Les Bains, widely recognised as the cosmopolitan heart of Geneva and the place to be. The property enjoys excellent public transport links, with major tram and bus stations just around the corner. Geneva Airport is just 15 minutes away.
As part of The Ruby Group’s strategic growth plan, the hotel is one of several high-profile urban transformation projects currently underway across Europe. Known for redeveloping complex buildings with character and history, Ruby Group transforms architectural heritage into contemporary Lean Luxury experiences.
The Ruby Group continues to roll out its Lean Luxury philosophy in Europe’s most iconic cities. The new hotel in Geneva is part of a development portfolio that includes projects in Berlin, Copenhagen, Rotterdam and Stockholm. The hotel is scheduled to open in Q3 2028.
