The tenth anniversary edition of Bulgaria’s largest hospitality conference, the Hotel & Tourism Investment Forum – HTIF 2025, is expected to see an impressive turnout of over 600 hotel owners and executives from all over the country on October 14-15 at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia. The event will also be attended by tour operators, representatives of hotel brands, educational institutions, the state and municipal administration, industry vendors and official guests.

Opening Cocktail Party

HTIF’s opening cocktail on October 14 will provide a vibrant start to the forum, bringing together key decision-makers and stakeholders in an informal yet dynamic setting. The cocktail aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where participants can establish new connections, exchange ideas, and strengthen partnerships. As a networking-focused event, the Opening Cocktail is designed to encourage collaboration and inspire dialogue on the future of hospitality and tourism in Bulgaria. Guests will have the chance to meet speakers, industry leaders, and peers ahead of the conference sessions, laying the foundation for fruitful discussions during the forum.

Conference Highlights

On October 15, the conference will focus on topics such as:

  • Destination ‘Bulgaria’ between expectations and reality: Where does the country stand on the international tourism map in 2025?
  • Hotel Business in Bulgaria in 2025: What are the key trends, challenges, and opportunities?
  • Promising niches in hotel investments: Which concepts and business models will dominate the market in the next five years?
  • Spa, Medical, Wellness, and Longevity: Where are the opportunities for hoteliers?
  • Staff Wanted: How to build a strong hotel team despite the demographic crisis, generation shift, and high turnover in the industry?
  • Experience above all: Can boutique hotels become a high-potential niche in Bulgaria?
  • Online reputation management and branding: Effective solutions, technologies, and case studies for standing out in a highly competitive market.
  • Dynamic Pricing and Revenue Management for independent and boutique hotels: How to achieve sustainable profitability.

In parallel, the second edition of the Food & Beverage Forum will take place on October 15 in the HoReCa Hall, right next to the HTIF conference. Over the two conference programs, 13 panel discussions will be held, featuring over 40 speakers addressing critical issues.
