The SOMM Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection, the highly anticipated destination hotel in the heart of Woodinville, Washington, announced today it will open September 28. Nestled within the 20-acre Harvest development, the property will be managed by Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality and is designed to blend contemporary sophistication and unmatched comfort while delivering approachable, casual elegance. The hotel will offer a refined escape for wine lovers, wellness seekers and experience-driven travelers looking to immerse themselves in the culture, craftsmanship and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, just 30 minutes from Seattle.

Inspired by the art of the sommelier, The SOMM Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection is a curated wine country retreat, created to reflect the Northwest’s natural beauty, heritage and culinary richness. In addition to being built by KTM Construction, interiors have been thoughtfully designed by Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence, known for creating immersive, story-driven environments. Leading the hotel’s culinary program is nationally acclaimed Executive Chef Maximillian Petty, a three-time James Beard Award semifinalist and one of the Pacific Northwest’s most celebrated chefs, known for his innovative tasting menus, hyperlocal sourcing and creative wine pairings. The hotel will feature:

  • Bin 47, a signature restaurant and bar led by Chef Petty, celebrates bold regional flavor, award-winning wines and artisanal craft. The restaurant will highlight locally grown and scratch-made fare to showcase the best of the region and beyond.
  • The Shed, a farm inspired rooftop bar and restaurant designed as a fun and little funky, rustic yet refined, comfortable community gathering place with panoramic views of Mount Rainier and the Sammamish River Valley. Overseen by Chef Petty, the lounge will offer small plates featuring fresh and hyperlocal roof-grown ingredients.
  • Two dedicated wine blending rooms for guests to embark on a complimentary, hands-on journey into the art of winemaking and leave with a personalized bottle to remember it by. This is the hotel’s signature experience that celebrates Woodinville’s deep winemaking roots and provides complimentary wine education for every guest.
  • Vin de Spa, a one-of-a-kind wellness destination, featuring hot tubs, steam and sauna rooms, available to hotel guests and the local community. The Spa also boasts eight treatment rooms, including two couples’ treatment rooms, and the hotel will feature wellness offerings such as yoga classes, sound baths, and more throughout the year.
  • 164 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites that will include in-room amenities such as spa-style bathrooms with large walk-in showers or soaking tubs and premium bedding. Each guest room floor features a hydration station with both filtered still and sparkling water, and traditional do not disturb signs have been replaced by digital touchpads that light up outside the guest room doors, adding to the thoughtful and luxurious touches throughout the property.
  • Over 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including over 5,000 square feet outdoors. The flexible meeting spaces feature a grand ballroom, covered patio, a variety of small and large meeting rooms for events and gatherings of all sizes and occasions including weddings, galas, corporate meetings, retreats and more.

The hotel’s opening team reflects its commitment to experienced, first-in-class hospitality, devoted to details and a history of providing exceptional guest experiences. The SOMM Hotel & Spa joins Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection brand, which includes over 340 independent hotels across the world – each hand selected for their inherent craft and distinct perspective on design. The opening team includes industry leaders that have a depth of experience working in some of the biggest wine country destinations in the country. This includes John Evans, General Manager, who most recently was the General Manager of the Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa Valley for over 11 years and prior to that was the General Manager of the Ritz-Carlon Half Moon Bay in California.
