BCD Travel’s Cities & Trends report reveals the most-visited hubs, booking patterns, and growth hotspots for U.S. business travelers

Business travel in 2024 exceeded expectations, reflecting economic growth, trade expansion, and corporate confidence. The latest rankings highlight the top U.S. cities, states, and international destinations frequented by business travelers, as well as key booking habits and emerging market trends.

  • Top U.S. business travel hubs: Atlanta ranked as the most-visited city, followed by Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago, all major airline hubs;
  • Leading states for business travel: Texas, California, Georgia, Illinois, and Florida emerged as the most visited states, aligning with strong economic performance;
  • Key international destinations: London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, and Munich were the most traveled European cities, while Tokyo and Seoul led in Asia. São Paulo was the only Latin American city in the top 10;
  • Strong U.S.- Europe travel ties: Seven of the top 10 most-visited countries were European, underscoring the deep business connections between the regions;
