We spoke to luxury Bali property, The Komu’s, team about how STAAH has helped them with Get Google to boost direct revenue and bookings.

The Komu Canggu Bali is more than just a stay – it’s a lifestyle. Nestled in the heart of Berawa (Bali), just moments from the beach and Canggu’s vibrant social scene, the hotel offers a unique blend of modern comfort and community-driven experiences with rooftop oceanic views and an in-house fusion restaurant. It offers 126 designer rooms that merge business and pleasure.

Guests will find gym facilities, co-working spaces, markets, dining, shopping, health facilities, world-class entertainment and far more right outside The Komu’s doors. Exclusive partnerships with popular local clubs ensure guests also enjoy special access, exclusive perks and seamless experiences during their stay in Bali.

Before implementing STAAH’s Get Google, The Komu’s online visibility through search was limited. Organic reach was low and whilst the online travel agents (OTAs) helped distribute the prestigious property to targeted countries, it came at a cost – a high one. There was a need to reduce the dependency on OTAs and enhance revenue by increasing direct revenue through The Komu’s website.

The transformation to increase direct bookings started by adoption of the STAAH booking engine. The secure and hassle-free booking platform lets guests book online through the property website in three steps. STAAH booking engine’s dynamic pricing, streamlined customer communications, promo codes, stop-sell limits on packages and occupancy base pricing.

The feature that was adopted a few months after installing the STAAH booking engine was in fact one that turned the things around for the The Komu.

The STAAH Get Google feature is fully integrated with the STAAH Max Booking Engine. IT allows properties to leverage the power of meta search engines with the STAAH-Google integration that allows the accommodation providers to push rates and availability in real-time on Google Search, so they could drive greater online visibility and maximise their reach.

For The Komu, this product promise of increased direct revenue through improved online reach came true soon after installing Get Google (an easy request via the STAAH booking engine dashboard). The results – a jump in direct bookings by 25% – was seen not too long after the integration was completed.
