Opera Contemporary, a brand of Angelo Cappellini specialized in the production of luxury furniture with innovative and modern design for the development of contemporary living scenes, consolidates its presence in the international interior design scene by signing the furniture for the sleeping area of the prestigious Hilltop House project, a private villa located in a panoramic position in the hills overlooking the city of Metro Manila, Philippines.

The project is curated by Moda Interni, in collaboration with interior design studio Casa Licup. Moda Interni is a luxury furniture showroom and distributor based in Quezon City in which Opera Contemporary furniture is displayed.

Hilltop House Is born from the client’s desire to make the most of the breathtaking view of the city. This resulted in a residence characterized by spacious, light-filled rooms and spaces with large windows that allow natural light to enter.

In defining the furnishings, the client expressed a desire to rely on the best of craftsmanship and Made in Italy, favoring brands that can offer a high degree of customization, without sacrificing the quality of materials and sartorial attention to detail.

In this context, Opera Contemporary has been chosen for the customization of all furniture in the sleeping area with its distinct stylistic signature.

Opera Contemporary, specifically, elegantly interpreted the green color selected by the client to distinguish the master bedroom, playing on the various shades and tones to create a bright atmosphere full of personality.

The bedroom hosts the Dorothy bed, featuring an elegant and wide headboard, crafted with craftmanship and enhanced by the choice of a green bouclé fabric as covering. The headboard becomes the centerpiece of the bedroom, drawing attention and adding a refined touch to the décor. The wide L 350-cm headboard accommodates the two bedside tables and is designed for a 200×200-cm mattress. Its elegant lines thus create a welcoming and sumptuous space, inviting relaxation and rest. The bed frame is supported by four slender feet in polished brass.

Other accessories find a place in the master bedroom, giving it style and functionality. The Fritz capitonné bench is distinguished by an elegant look conveyed by the work of the seat, with a green bouclé fabric in harmony with the bed, with base a floor plinth in polished brass metal.

The Sophie cushioned armchair in its swivel version flanks the double bed and is accompanied by the Sophie round upholstered ottoman. A compact seat that cleverly plays on contained proportions and is distinguished by the soft ivory fabric. The 360° movement is perfectly integrated with the metal plinth base on the floor polished brass. Its versatility allows it to fit perfectly in the nighttime environment.

The room also welcomes the Kathy two-seater sofa in gray fabric, whose characteristic bean shape enhances harmonious proportions and organic lines for modern comfort and aesthetics suitable for any setting and style. The base is made of polished brass metal.

Completing the furnishings, the Ø120-cm diameter New Brian coffee table is distinguished by its fine Arabescato Vagli marble table top with beveled edges, in which is set a polished brass plate with Opera Contemporary’s identifying logo. The three-leg metal frame of the coffee table is a harmonious combination of materials, with black painted metal chosen for the flat perimeter curve and polished brass used for the tubular leg under the top.

The Hilltop House project highlighted Opera Contemporary’s ability as a trusted and professional partner, able to offer added value to the project in terms of both style and quality of execution, with a result that reflects and enhances the client’s desire for bespoke Italian luxury.
