Accor celebrated the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by teaming up with Kauli Vaast, gold medal winner in surfing, to organise a unique event that left a lasting impression. Three days after his victory in Tahiti, Vaast surfed on the Seine, under the Eiffel Tower, in a symbolic act of celebration and emotion.

This initiative was carried out in 36 hours, with the support of the Games Organising Committee and the City of Paris, and generated worldwide media coverage, reaching over 5 million views.

Accor not only highlighted its partnership with Vaast, but also reinforced its “Crafting treasured memories” message, aligning the event with its values of celebration and sharing. Beyond the event, Vaast now offers exclusive masterclasses to members of the ALL loyalty programme, creating a real relationship with its customers.

This campaign has not only captured the public’s attention, but has also consolidated Accor’s image as a creator of memorable experiences.
