New signings across key destinations

Hilton’s latest announcements include a diverse mix of properties in several cities like Istanbul, Izmir, Edirne, and Mersin, reflecting the brand’s strategy to enhance its presence in both leisure and business-focused markets. The new hotels will span various Hilton brands, catering to different customer segments.

“We’re very proud of Hilton’s 70-year history in Türkiye, which continues to be a key strategic market with over 120 hotels trading and in the pipeline. We are thrilled to share we have signed a further eight properties across the country so far this year, located in vibrant Istanbul, coastal Izmir, and scenic Cappadocia, as well as other cities.” – Mike Collini, Vice President of Development, Central & Eastern Europe at Hilton

Unique new openings

One of the most notable signings is the Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, set to be part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, marking Hilton’s first cave hotel. Located in the UNESCO-protected Cappadocia region, this property will offer 36 rooms and is scheduled to open in late 2025.

Hilton is also bringing new properties to Istanbul and Izmir. The Palazzo Donizetti in Istanbul, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will open in autumn 2025, offering 79 rooms in the historic Pera district. Meanwhile, Hotel Konak Izmir, another Tapestry Collection property, will open in July 2026 with 92 rooms, positioned in Izmir’s vibrant Konak district.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir Karsiyaka will also be added to the portfolio, offering 153 rooms with meeting space for up to 1,000 people. It will open in July 2026, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Hilton’s strong regional growth

Hilton’s recent signings align with the company’s ongoing strategy to expand its footprint across Türkiye, particularly in high-demand locations. The DoubleTree by Hilton Edirne will debut in this historic northwestern city in spring 2026.

Another key property, the Hilton Garden Inn Mersin Forum, is set to open in October 2026. This 100-room hotel will be strategically located near Türkiye’s largest seaport, catering to both business and leisure visitors.

Focus on emerging markets

Hilton’s expansion also includes the Hampton by Hilton Mardin Midyat, which will open in January 2027. This will be the first internationally branded hotel in Midyat, a town known for its rich cultural heritage. The 82-room hotel will provide amenities like a meeting room, fitness center, and social spaces.

In addition to the new signings, Hilton is continuing its investment in existing properties. The iconic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus is undergoing a significant $80 million renovation, with new guest rooms and pool areas already available to guests, signaling the brand’s commitment to maintaining its premium properties.

Hilton’s consistent growth in Türkiye highlights the increasing demand for diverse hotel offerings across the country. The company’s strategic focus on both urban centers and emerging destinations ensures it remains well-positioned to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers.
