Delaware North is proud to announce the completion of its highly anticipated guest room renovation at The Westin Buffalo, the company-owned-and-operated hotel at its global headquarters, marking a new era of luxury and comfort for travelers in the heart of downtown Buffalo.
As a full-service AAA Four Diamond property in Western New York, The Westin Buffalo continues to set the standard for exceptional hospitality, seamlessly blending contemporary design with a commitment to environmental sustainability.
The refreshed guest rooms feature modern furnishings, soothing color schemes, and Westin’s signature Heavenly Beds for a restful stay. The renovation, the first since the property opened in 2016, included upgrades to the furniture and fixtures in each room, with a focus on high-quality materials and resulting in a fully revitalized space. Each space is thoughtfully designed with the modern traveler in mind.
In keeping with its commitment to environmental sustainability, The Westin Buffalo partnered with several local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the Buffalo Fire Department, PeacePrints of WNY and more, to donate over 500 items during the renovation. The organizations collected gently used furniture and fixtures from the hotel, ensuring these items will be reused and repurposed to benefit local families.
The hotel also collaborated with Triad Recycling & Energy Corporation to ensure that mattresses from guest rooms were responsibly recycled, diverting materials from landfills.
In addition to the AAA Four Diamond rating, the hotel has consistently delivered excellent hospitality to its guests since opening in 2016 and has received numerous awards over the last nine years, including Marriott International’s Hotel of the Year for the Americas in the Distinctive Premium category, Brand Culture award, Operational Excellence award and Mustang award.
