Hideaway Inns, a new hospitality platform reimagining regional travel for today’s experience-driven guest, announced today the opening of its first property: Hideaway Inn Mt. Sunapee. Developed by Hideaway Inns and managed by Revival Hotels, the 55-room hotel marks the official debut of the Hideaway Inns brand, delivering a hospitality experience that combines frictionless technology, design-forward guest rooms, and playful communal spaces in a scenic regional destination.
Located at the base of Mt. Sunapee—a Vail-owned mountain and part of the Epic Pass—and steps from Lake Sunapee State Beach, the hotel is well-positioned to serve leisure travelers. Guests can access the mountain’s year-round offerings—from skiing and snowboarding to mountain biking and festivals—as well as enjoy easy access to Sunapee Harbor, Colby-Sawyer College, and Dartmouth College. With Boston and Portland less than two hours away and New York City only a four-hour drive, the hotel is an easy escape for both weekend adventurers and longer getaways.
Hideaway Inn Mt. Sunapee, is powered by Revival Hotels’ proprietary Invisible Hospitality™ model, enabling seamless direct-to-door check-in without a traditional front desk. Each guest room is uniquely designed—no two are alike—and comes equipped with a Hideaway-branded Crosley record player, a rainfall showerhead, a white noise machine, and amenities from The Botanist and The Chemist. The hotel also offers access to the HI Innsider Guide, a mobile app that serves as a personal concierge, providing curated recommendations, local insights, and on-property information.
The hotel offers a range of shared spaces suitable for guests of all ages. The Living Room includes shuffleboard, a vinyl library, board games, and a fireplace in a relaxed, BYOB-friendly setting. The Hideout is a kids’ retreat, giving families a chance to relax. The Yard offers indoor recreation with bocce, a putting green, and cornhole. Guests also have access to a 24/7 specialty coffee bar, curated vending machines, and a coworking space.
Two additional Hideaway Inn properties are currently under development in Mt. Snow, Vermont, and Sugar Hill, New Hampshire, with expected openings by the end of 2025. The brand is targeting regional markets across the Northeast and other destinations underserved by traditional hotel offerings.
