Fantastic stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg — a true luxury gem in this awesome city that isn’t as well frequented by non-Europeans but they all should!
Lots to highlight for how this hotel creates a superb hotel experience.
A picture is worth a thousand words, thought, so flip through the album to pick out all the specifics.
To highlight one theme in particular, what we continue to emphasize is that real luxury is formed by all the little details…
Consider how all the art pieces, decor touchpoints and points of interest around the rooms, guest floor corridors and public spaces create a sense of fascination that drives length of stay.
One can spend a whole day just lounging around the hotel wandering about and never feel bored.
When thoughtfully put together, there’s a “superadditive” effect for the design.
The opposite of a ‘head in bed’ lodging for a given destination, hotels like the Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten compel guests to stay longer in the city, traveling a bit slower in order to fully experience all the hotel’s amenities as well as Hamburg itself.
When you think about this relationship between decor, points of interest and wanting to stay longer, the design and attention to detail with all the amenities drives LOS which therein drived TRevPAR.
Of course, when mentioning total revenues, lest I plug Restaurant Haerlin which just earned its THIRD Michelin star!
As for the city itself, Hamburg has a style unto itself; more in common with Amsterdam or Copenhagen than with Berlin or Munich. It’s an active city on the water with plenty of cycling, parks, water activities and pescatarian-driven cuisine.
Plenty more details to discuss. Give a DM to learn more.
And thanks for Anna Ziegler and Daniel Stockhammer, MRICS for the delightful conversations 🙏
