Arrival begins with the quiet dignity of a scholar’s retreat. Bamboo textures, antique-inspired brickwork, and warm stone finishes create a contemplative ambiance, softened by ceiling installations that filter light with the delicacy of paper screens. Behind the reception, a softly illuminated relief depicts mountain silhouettes—an homage to the rolling landscapes that surround Nanjing. The lobby thus becomes more than a threshold: it is the first chapter in a cultural dialogue between guest and city.
