Rather than investing time and resources to develop an AI strategy, hoteliers should start make their data strategy the priority

Without a well-defined data strategy, it’s impossible to implement an effective AI strategy, says Ireckonu’s head of data Rik van Leeuwen. In the hospitality industry, especially for hotels, a key data point is the customer profile. If these profiles contain duplicate or outdated information, AI systems will struggle to deliver accurate and effective results.
