A New Icon in Luxury Hospitality

The upcoming Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza promises a truly unparalleled experience, merging Sofitel Legend’s signature French zest and elegance with the profound cultural heritage of Egypt.

The exclusive portfolio of unparalleled Sofitel Legend hotels is part of Sofitel, the first luxury hotel brand of French origin having expanded internationally and believing in hospitality that blends heartfelt and committed luxury with a French zest.

The new Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza will become the eighth jewel in the brand’s unique and exclusive portfolio of luxury establishments. Sofitel Legend hotels are appreciated for their timeless elegance and their awe-inspiring history creating unique atmospheres that tell stories of the past. From the writing of Agatha Christie’s masterpiece “Death on the Nile” to Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Godard’s honeymoon, and even the birth of James Bond, Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza joins this exclusive network to share the legends of ancient Egyptian civilization, with an outstanding view on Gizeh pyramids.

The hotel will be the second Sofitel Legend in Egypt, joining Sofitel Legend Old Cataract in Aswan. The other hotels in the brand’s portfolio include Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in Panama City, Panama; Sofitel Legend Santa Clara in Cartagena, Colombia; Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi, Vietnam; Sofitel Legend People’s Grand in Xi’an, China; and the newly announced Sofitel Legend The Mozart in Prague in Czech Republic scheduled to open in 2027.

Guests will enjoy luxurious accommodations in 303 meticulously designed rooms and suites, all capturing the grandeur and mystery of ancient Egypt with contemporary comforts and refined French touches. The hotel’s wellness facilities will include a high-end spa and fitness center, infinity pools, while a collection of restaurants, including an all-day dining venue and three specialty dining options, will offer world-class cuisine overlooking the timeless pyramids.

A Strategic Partnership with ADTIC

ADTIC, a pioneer in Egypt’s tourism and hospitality sector since 1988, brings significant expertise in developing landmark hotels in prime locations. This new project aligns with ADTIC’s commitment to creating distinguished properties that capture the essence of their settings while delivering world-class hospitality. Through this collaboration, Accor and ADTIC are set to redefine luxury travel in Cairo, strengthening Egypt’s tourism appeal for both domestic and international travellers.

ADTIC expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its commitment to Egypt’s hospitality industry.

“Together with Accor, we are crafting a transformative experience at the Sofitel Legend Pyramids giza, where the rich narrative of ancient Egypt meets unparalleled luxury. Our commitment to excellence will not only elevate the standards of hospitality but also celebrate the timeless beauty and heritage of this extraordinary destination.”

— Yahia Kotub, CEO of ADTIC

A Prime Location with Unmatched Views

Strategically positioned just 500 meters from the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza will provide guests with easy access to one of the most anticipated cultural attractions in the world. Just finalized, the GEM is set to house the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the complete collection of treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb. GEM will not only showcase Egypt’s rich history but also contribute significantly to the region’s tourism, making Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza an ideal base for cultural exploration. Additionally, most of the hotel’s rooms will offer picturesque views of the Pyramids.

“We are very proud to enhance our Sofitel Legend portfolio with this magnificent property, our second Sofitel Legend in Egypt. This unique brand, blending French zest with legendary properties and destinations, was reignited just one year ago. With this being the third Sofitel Legend signing this year, we are seeing strong momentum for the brand across all continents, with many more projects to come. Our vision is to expand the Sofitel Legend network from six remarkable hotels open today to a collection of 15 iconic jewels within the next five years, and we are on track to achieve this ambitious objective. We look forward to partnering with ADTIC to serve the ever-evolving global luxury traveler in Egypt.”
