Named after the Greek goddess Hera, the restaurant champions Greek cuisine and transforms seasonal ingredients into elegant dishes.

Highlights of the Menu:

✨ To Begin: Sample classic mezze, including anchovies, Kalamata olives, and dips like Tarama, Tzatziki, and Melitzanao.

🌱 The Garden: Celebrates all that is grown from the ground and includes classic hits such as Vegetable Moussaka, Gemista (stuffed courgettes) and Feta Sagnaki.

🍖 The Farm: For something more meaty then ‘The Farm’ section of the menu is for you and includes the likes of Grilled Baby Chicken with Herb Salt, Beef Meatballs and Lamb Chops.

🌊 The Sea: For those wanting to dive into Greece’s Mediterranean shores then ‘The Sea’ offers alluring options including Grilled Octopus, Wild Sea Bass and of course Calamari.

The evening also includes signature HERA cocktails to sip. Drinks like Helen of Spice (a twist on a Spicy Margarita) and Dates in Crete (a twist on an Old Fashioned) are perfect complements to the Greek-inspired fare.

HERA: A taste of Greece to savour and share 

HERA (4 Arber Way, Stratford, London, E20 1JS) will open on November 21st. Named after the Greek Goddess, the restaurant will champion Greek cuisine and transform seasonal ingredients into elegant dishes that reflect the variety of what Greek food has to offer.

HERA’s menu takes you on a journey through Greecian cuisine where vegetables, meat and seafood all contribute to create a varied and enticing selection of dishes designed to share. ‘To Begin’, a selection of hero mezze dishes are available from Anchovies, to Kalamata Olives and of course a selection of dips such as Tarama, Tzatziki and Melitzanao Salata (Smoked Aubergine with Thyme and Honey).’The Garden’ celebrates all that is grown from the ground and includes classic hits such as Vegetable Moussaka, Gemista (stuffed courgettes) and Feta Sagnaki. Start, or indeed end, your meal with a HERA cocktail which can be enjoyed in the Cocktail Lounge located at the front of the restaurant. Choose from HERA signatures including Helen of Spice (a twist on a Spicy Margarita) and Dates in Crete (a twist on an Old Fashioned) or whisk yourself away to warmer climes with a refreshing Nymph Minthe or Karpuzi Island. It is no secret that Greek wine is now world class and Hera’s wine list doesn’t disappoint. From Santorini’s Assyrtiko to the rich Cabernet Sauvignon, of Kokotos, at HERA a true taste of Greece goes beyond what is on your plate.

A 200 seater restaurant, HERA is a lateral and welcoming space where a colour palette of warm aubergine, marble, copper and gold creates an elegant and inviting interior. Window lined walls ensure plenty of natural light in the day and the evening shimmer of surrounding outdoor lights by night.

Located in the heart of Stratford Cross, HERA is a part of a new and exciting development which is fast becoming a new hub of East London. A stone’s throw from the ABBA Arena, and directly opposite the much anticipated V&A Museum which will open in Spring 2026, there are multiple reasons to visit. Be it a cocktail pre ABBA, lunch post a cultural fix or just an opportunity to escape London for the warmth of the Mediterranean –  HERA has you covered.
