Travel technology company Zenmer has announced the launch of Zenia, the powerful multi-lingual  Gen AI travel assistant that is set to be a game changer for business travel.

Built on the foundations of latest advancements in the large language model ecosystem, Zenia uses natural language to search, send quotes and make bookings for business travellers and agents.

The AI product is embedded into Zenmer’s core products such as the Online Booking Tool (OBT), Agent Desktop, and the Mid-office system, providing a seamless addition to its existing travel management processes and tools.

The product utilises the new-age LLM capabilities that understands and responds in several languages.

Travel advisors can request quotes on email (soon also on WhatsApp, Slack and Teams). The email drives the approval request or one-click booking, without having to remain on the booking tool. Travelers can also simply send a message requesting quotes     .

Zenia suggests directions, weather, distance, visa restrictions, and more using the full context of the client’s trip.

It also offers actionable capabilities, handling complex tasks like booking, quoting, and consulting on travel arrangements at various stages (pre-trip, on-trip, and post-trip).

This capability bridges the gap between traditional support tools and full-service, action-oriented AI assistance.

By utilising the traveller’s unique profile, loyalty programs, preferences, and organizational policies, Zenia recommends options that align with the traveller’s individual preferences and the company’s travel policies, from preferred airlines and accommodation types to budget constraints and destination-specific guidelines.

“Zenia takes business travel to a new level of sophistication and efficiency” said Nikunj Agrawal, CEO of Zenmer.

“By understanding the pain points of business travel searches and booking processes we have created an AI travel assistant that delivers a personalised and enhanced experience that makes the current booking tools feel obsolete already.”

“Zenia performs every task seamlessly. Just say book cheapest class BA fares and it does the rest for you,” said Arguwal.

“It will also advise and book airport transfer options and let you know if visa restrictions apply. It’s that easy.”

He added: “We are running beta trials with a few TMC customers and are amazed by their overwhelming response.

“Testament to the skills of our development team, Zenmer provides really exciting possibilities to help customers and agents plan and search for business travel options in a very natural, human way.”
