The luxury boutique Indian hotel group is redefining its distribution and revenue strategy with STAAH’s reliable and effective channel management technology.

Saraca Hotels & Resorts is an independent collection of luxury boutique hotels and resorts, currently managing close to 100 keys across three distinct properties in India (Lucknow and Jim Corbett, upcoming properties in Jim Corbett & Sri Lanka).

Saraca Hotels & Resorts are not just places to stay – they are destinations in themselves, where culture, nature and modernity converge. A hallmark of the group properties is the timeless “Asoka Tree”, also known as the sorrowless tree, which resonates through the group’s collection of intimate luxury boutique hotels.

Looking for smarter controls in its channel manager

One of the biggest challenges faced by the Saraca group was application of restrictions in its channel manager, including Maximum Length of Stay (MLOS), Closed to Arrival (CTA) and Closed to Departure (CTD). These restrictions are critical to avoid shorter stays and vacancies during periods of high demand.

The group’s previous distribution technology was also less reliable with inventory push issues being experienced frequently, impacting guest experience.

STAAH: A reliable and effective solution

Due to the restrictions of its previous technology and reliability issues, the Saraca group decided to depend on STAAH. It came highly recommended and a demonstration of the STAAH Max channel manager capabilities confirmed that this was the right choice for Saraca properties.

The integration was seamless and well supported by the STAAH team, who have always been ready and available to extend necessary support.

It was very quickly established that the Saraca team had made the right choice. STAAH is one of the most compatible and easy to use channel managers. It’s intuitive interface is matched with powerful technology that connects properties to 500+ online travel agents (OTAs).

STAAH’s advanced revenue management capabilities are based on dynamic pricing and pooled inventory with options such as rate plan flexibility and multiple restrictions (including MLOS, CTA and CTD) enabled within a few clicks. When combined with informed decision making through powerful and real-time insights, the revenue impact is clearly visible.

Seamless connectivity and revenue optimisation

The STAAH connection has enabled Saraca Group to be more confident of its available inventory and rates across connected channels. The STAAH system is very stable and rarely experiences any problems. Not only that, the STAAH customer support team is always ready to help with any problems the Saraca group experiences.

STAAH’s ability to put properties in charge of their success through advanced revenue management capabilities and restriction features is seen in improved bookings and length of stays across properties.
