The National Landing Hotel Crystal City in Arlington, Va. is ringing in a new chapter under a new name. The hotel is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation and rebranding, slated for completion this May, and will be rebranded as The National Landing Hotel.
Formerly known as the Marriott Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, the 347-room hotel will debut a refreshed exterior, modernized guest rooms and upgraded public spaces, including a new restaurant and lounge.
The National Landing Hotel will remain open throughout the phased renovations. Once the updates are complete, the hotel will join another brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, though the specific brand has yet to be announced.

“We are thrilled to be part of the reinvigorating development in Crystal City and Arlington and modernize our hotel to exceed the standards of the discerning guest,” said General Manager Ben Joseph. “The National Landing Hotel is setting the foundation for a new legacy, one we are extremely proud of, and we look forward to all that is to come.”
The renovations aim to align with the evolving business and tourism landscape of the National Landing district, home to Amazon’s HQ2 and Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus. The updated design will feature a modern aesthetic with locally sourced art and an open layout in the guest rooms. The hotel’s color scheme will reflect Arlington’s regional identity and historical significance.

Dining options will include a European-inspired food and beverage program, with a tapas-style menu, local craft beers and wines served in a new restaurant and lounge offering scenic views of the area.
Additional amenities will include a 24/7 fitness center, 8,500 square feet of event space equipped with breakout areas and A/V support for business and social gatherings.
Situated near the Crystal City Metro, Washington D.C., and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the hotel provides easy access to key business and leisure destinations, including the National Mall, Old Town Alexandria and the upcoming National Landing Water Park Food Hall.
