Opening its doors in Dubai for the 32nd edition, Arabian Travel Market 2025 is on track to break records in both attendance and exhibitor participation.

The event, which takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre in the UAE from 28 April to 1 May, is expected to attract a record 55,000 travel professionals from 166 countries, beating the 47,000 from 2024.

International visitors account for the majority of registrations (52%) with the remainder coming from the UAE and GCC. The top global source markets are India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye and the US.

Exhibitor numbers are also up, with more than 2,800 exhibitors spanning 14 halls, marking a nearly 12% increase in exhibitor participation year-on-year and making ATM 2025 the largest edition in history. Two-thirds of exhibitors (67%) are international, while 33% hail from within the Middle East.

Notably, there is a strong increase in regional participation, with Asia leading growth at 20% year-on-year, followed by the Middle East at 15%, Europe at 12%, and steady gains across Africa and the Americas.

India’s presence at ATM has increased by 30% this year, driven by a strong presence from exhibitors including the regional tourism boards and airline carriers such as Air India.

Themed ‘Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity’, the 2025 edition will focus on how new technology is affecting the industry.

ATM Travel Tech is larger than ever, with an increase of more than 23% in the number of products presented at the event, reflecting the significance of the US$10.7 billion opportunity.

Visitors can also hear from leading tech experts on how innovative technologies are shaping the travel and hospitality sector, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Opening the Future Stage on day one, Google’s first Chief Decision Scientist and CEO of Kozyr, Cassie Kozyrkov, will explore why organisations struggle with AI adoption, while futurist and travel expert John Duffield will discuss how travel providers can act now to prepare for AI and leverage the opportunities it presents.

There will also be a dedicated business events zone at this year’s show titled IBTM@ATM, where a series of sessions will explore strategies to unlock growth and opportunities in business events and corporate travel.
