Clermont Hotel Group (CHG) has revealed a new partnership with Obvlo, an AI-powered digital concierge platform designed to enhance the guest experience for the group’s Thistle branded hotels.

Through personalised, location-based recommendations in hopes to “refresh” and “elevate” a stay.

Thistle has also had a brand refresh, which includes the launch of a new website, reimagined identity and branding, and investment in selected properties.

This will see two Thistle hotels – The Tower Hotel London and The Marble Arch Hotel – rebranded as ‘by Thistle,’ highlighting an elevated experience, said to be “rooted in distinct, location-led stays designed to meet the expectations of today’s discerning traveller”.

The integration of Obvlo’s technology will allow guests to effortlessly discover and engage with London’s best experiences, from hidden gems to must-visit landmarks.

The use of AI means that Obvlo’s content is continuously refreshed, for the most relevant and up-to-date information available.

“We are thrilled to be working with Obvlo as part of our commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience,” said Stuart Yeates, chief commercial officer at Clermont Hotel Group.

“Guests today expect more than just a place to stay – they want meaningful, personalised experiences that help them connect with their destination.

James Parsons, CRO of Obvlo, said: “We’re proud to partner with Clermont Hotel Group to support the evolution of the Thistle Brand.

“Clermont’s drive and enthusiasm to adopt our technology, placing experiences and personalisation at the heart of their refined proposition, shows their commitment to evolving guest experience.”
