Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd. for a new Andaz hotel planned to open after 2034 at the Meitetsu Nagoya Station A marquee redevelopment project to a new urban landmark awaits, which includes the opening of a transportation hub along with the launch of a high-speed railway.

Andaz Nagoya will be the first Andaz hotel in the city, which Nagoya Railroad envisions will stand as a symbol of the city’s transformation—blending innovation, design, and culture. The hotel will be part of a multi-use urban complex integrated with the new railway station and is set to have a dedicated entrance on the ground floor that will provide access to approximately 150 guest rooms and suites on the 25th to 29th floors. Amenities will include a rooftop bar, restaurants, lounges, extensive meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, an indoor pool and a spa.
Nagoya, one of Japan’s three major metropolitan areas, is strategically located on the “Golden Route” between Tokyo and Osaka and is easily accessible via both the Tokaido bullet train and Chubu Centrair International Airport.
