The 28-room hotel will continue to operate in its current form until November 2025, when it will be refurbished to fully join the Korner universe. Korner’s unique decentralised management model is a key feature of its approach.
In this new hotel, there will be no traditional management, but rather ‘Korner Hosts’, multi-skilled employees who act both as representatives of the hotel and actively participate in its day-to-day management. This management system, based on cross-functional “Roles”, allows each Host to take charge of several tasks, such as communication, recruitment or purchasing, thus encouraging more dynamic management and direct involvement of the teams in the group’s development.
“We’re very proud of this tenth hotel. It’s a new stage in our adventure. Each time we take over a hotel, we introduce a philosophy, a way of welcoming, of working together, of existing on a daily basis. Korner is not a décor, it’s a breath of fresh air that we breathe into the walls. Our model is agile, tried and tested, and easy to replicate. The head office functions are carried out by Korner Hosts supported by our in-house tech”. – Cécile Rosset, co-founder of Korner.
The hotel will offer rooms with a refined design and top-of-the-range bedding. In addition, the Espace Korner, designed as a central meeting place, will offer restaurant, coworking and relaxation services. The customer experience will also be enhanced by innovative technological solutions, such as contactless check-in and services accessible via smartphone.
With this acquisition, Korner is continuing to expand its presence in strategic areas of Paris. The Group plans to broaden its portfolio and strengthen its presence in major French cities, while preserving the human identity that makes it unique. This is also borne out by the fact that the group is continuing to expand in France with the forthcoming opening of its first establishment in Lyon, marking a key step in its growth strategy.
