B2B travel technology marketplace, HBX Group, has been granted ISO 27001:2022 certification by AENOR, leading trust-building institution.

This international standard, developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), endorses organisations that implement advanced information security management practices.

The certification recognises HBX Group’s strength and effectiveness in protecting sensitive data and securely managing its information systems.

To achieve this, HBX Group has carried out an exhaustive process of evaluation and improvement of its systems, incorporating an approach based on risk management, monitoring through key indicators and both internal and external audits. All of this with the aim of strengthening its technological infrastructure and guaranteeing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

Obtaining this certification represents the continuous focus of HBX Group in its adaptation to the current digital environment, strengthening its capacity to operate securely and protect the critical information of its operations.

“The ISO 27001 certification is the result of HBX Group’s continuous efforts to establish a secure environment for its information systems,” said Andres Llamas, Head of Information Security at HBX Group.

“This recognition reinforces the confidence of our collaborators and clients, ensuring that their data is protected under an internationally recognised reference framework.”

Salvador Ibáñez, director of AENOR in the Balearic Islands, Valencia and Murcia, made this assurance: “The ISO 27001 standard certifies the ability to properly manage and protect the information and systems that companies handle, as well as their commitment to the investments necessary to guarantee quality and excellence in cybersecurity.

“Therefore, for companies such as HBX Group, which manage a large amount of third-party data, having this AENOR certification is the best way to convey a message of maximum confidence to their stakeholders”.

AENOR has been accredited to certify the new version of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and is the leading certifier in Spain.
