Automating outbound calls to travel suppliers

Global travel technology player, DerbySoft, has announced the launch of AI Voice Agent to automate high-volume, repetitive outbound calls to properties.

In the business travel sector, 30% or more of global accommodation bookings require manual phone or email intervention.

Each year, travel agents spend thousands of hours making repetitive calls to properties to check booking information. 

The AI Voice Agent now automates tasks such as verifying payment information – particularly virtual credit cards – as well as confirming booking details and request invoices after checkout.

It’ll operate 24/7 across all time zones, with built in compliance such as full GDPR compliance. 

The tool integrates seamlessly via API or CSV.

“Let’s face it, calling properties all day isn’t scalable, fun, or efficient,” states Nadim El Manawy, head of business travel solutions at DerbySoft. 

“DerbySoft is excited to bring automation to the front lines,” he added.

Additional features like RFP status, group booking confirmation, and refund status, are also on the roadmap.
