London, UK and San Francisco, CA – Triptease and Revinate, two leaders in hotel marketing technology, today announced a strategic partnership designed to accelerate direct bookings across the entire guest journey. The collaboration brings together a range of complementary data-driven solutions that help hotels to maximize direct revenue and reduce dependence on online travel agencies (OTAs).

Hotel booking journeys continue to grow in complexity, with more and more touchpoints, communication channels and data silos. The new partnership aims to help hotels create powerful direct booking strategies and exceptional guest experiences. It combines consolidated industry expertise with a range of tools designed to reach, convert, engage and understand guests.

One of the existing value-adds when hotels work with both Triptease and Revinate is the ability to capture and act on more valuable first-party data. Triptease captures email addresses during the booking processes when guests either don’t complete a booking or are unable to make one because dates are no longer available. That data is passed to Revinate where it can be used to re-engage prospects using the standard email templates of the hotel.
