New travel platform journaway has made it the UK market.
The tech-based platform experience-focused multi-day trips has now launched in the British market, continuing its international expansion.
It comes after the company successful entered into the Netherlands last year.
“With the UK launch, we’re taking the next logical step in our international expansion,” said Marco Behrends, CEO of journaway.
“The British market offers enormous potential for our digital model and our curated travel experiences – especially for customers who value individuality, planning security and inspiration.”
Alex Platts, former Expedia GM, was announced as chief commercial officer last year and is part of the Management Board. He is responsible for the company’s international growth strategy.
“The UK launch demonstrates the scalability of our model,” added Platts.
“Our data-driven approach and platform make it easy to book complex trips, and that clearly resonates with today’s travellers, especially in the UK market.”
