Benetti, a company specializing in the realization of green vertical walls for interiors, presents AKUBEN, a new collection born from the fusion between “Aku” which is a reminder of the acoustic world and Ben, Benetti’s abbreviation. The new collection reprises the use of the wooden board to which Moss, Benetti’s iconic product, is added. The result is a system of acoustic panels with a distinct design, designed to transform any room into a harmonious, comfortable and visually original space.

AKUBEN collection’s goal is to offer functional solutions without renouncing the aesthetic. Panels are studied to improve the acoustic quality of interior spaces by reducing noises and making the environment welcoming without giving away the design’s elegance.

The reinterpretation of the wooden board is one of the most distinctive aspect of AKUBEN. A market trend that is completely that is completely revolutionized and transformed into a design element in this collection. The available finishing touches Available finishes range from textural effects such as scratched to more refined details such as gold, helping to capture the attention of those entering the space.

From a structural point of view, each panel features a wooden base that rests on a layer of felt, generating a suspended and light visual effect. This design choice helps to emphasize the essentiality of the forms and minimalist character of the collection, perfectly in line with contemporary interior design trends.

Within the AKUBEN collection we find multiple series, such as Akuline, where the wooden board alternates with Moss in different varieties and combinations; Akudesign, which represents the possibility of representing with the alternation of Moss and wood graphic elements and geometric shapes of all types and colors, Akuflat, a line of solid panels, offered both in a decorated “carving” version and in a printed “printing” version. In the carving version, the panel undergoes processing that involves hollowing out the material to achieve a three-dimensional, sculptural effect. The second mode is printing which, as the name suggests, involves printing directly on the surface of the panel, resulting in decorative patterns with visual impact, capable of adding a graphic dimension to the interior design. Both techniques allow the product to be customized with extreme precision, shaping truly unique creations.

A series of accessories are completing the collection, such as decorative frame, flowers and elegant space separators, single-sided or double-sided, made with a steel or wooden cable support, ideal for dividing spaces with style and functionality, without sacrificing visual lightness.

One aspect that makes AKUBEN particularly innovative is the high level of customization offered. Each customer can choose finishes, colors, and decorative techniques based on his or her own design and creative needs. This flexibility makes the collection extremely favorable for architects, interior designers and planners looking for original and tailor-made solutions.

In addition to aesthetic impact, AKUBEN offers high-level acoustic performance. The panels provide superior sound absorption compared to traditional lichen panels, helping to improve the sound comfort of the spaces in which they are installed.

All materials used provide a highly sustainable product. The felt used for the backing is 100 percent recycled, while the laminated wood comes exclusively from certified, sustainably cut forests. This responsible approach confirms Benetti’s commitment to environmental sustainability, a founding value that accompanies the company at every stage of its work.

The AKUBEN collection fully represents Benetti’s creative philosophy: a vision of design that plays, experiments, has fun and surprises. It is an invitation to explore new aesthetic languages and travel through the Magic of “Italian design emotion.”
