Global AI property management system (AiPMS) Boom has joined forces with embedded insurance platform Tint to deliver flexible, purpose-built coverage that protects vacation rental owners from costly risks and strengthens guest confidence.

BoomGuard offers up to $50,000 in contents damage protection, covering guest-caused property damage, bed bug infestation, and optional liability coverage of up to $1 million.

The solution is designed as a win-win-win for the short-term rental ecosystem. Travellers enjoy peace of mind knowing they won’t face unexpected charges if something breaks, while owners gain confidence in knowing that they won’t be hit with unforeseen repair costs.

For managers, BoomGuard is being sold as both protection and as a revenue driver – helping them to attract more owners, build stronger guest relationships, and generate additional income while managing claims seamlessly through Boom.

Following several years of rapid growth, the short-term rental market now faces increased scrutiny from regulators, heightened guest expectations, and greater financial risk for homeowners.

Traditional homeowners’ insurance often falls short when a property is used for STRs, leaving owners exposed to costly claims. BoomGuard bridges that gap with coverage tailored specifically for professional property managers.

Fully embedded into Boom’s AiPMS, BoomGuard allows managers to handle claims directly within their existing workflows. The process is streamlined from start to finish, removing complexity, reducing administrative overhead, and ensuring faster resolution. By combining added protection with ease of use, BoomGuard delivers peace of mind for all parties while keeping operations efficient.

Shahar Goldboim, CEO and Co-Founder of Boom, said: “This partnership with Tint enables us to take another step forward in empowering property managers to focus on growth while reducing the risks inherent to short-term rentals.

“With BoomGuard, we’re combining intelligent automation with real protection, turning what used to be a cost and a risk into a driver of growth and profitability.”

Jayme Estrada, Head of Vacation at Tint, said: “This insurance was built with property managers in mind. From tiered coverage that scales with your portfolio to protections like bed bug remediation and no contents deductible, it helps managers safeguard their operations and deliver peace of mind to homeowners and guests.

“Partnering with the Boom team is especially exciting because they truly understand the value of making insurance simpler and more effective for property managers.”
