Munich – For the “Hotel Property Award 2025,” which will be presented during the 196+ forum conference on Wednesday, 8 October at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, the interdisciplinary jury has nominated ten hotels from six countries, chosen from 25 submissions across nine European countries.
Among the nominees are three hotels each from Germany and Austria, as well as one each from Iceland, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey. Only three of the applicants are entirely new constructions, while all other nominated properties result from conversions or complete demolitions of existing hotels or leisure facilities, followed by repositioning. One application is a transformation of a former printing plant into a hotel.
From Iceland to Istanbul, the 25 candidates for ´Hotel Property Award 2025´ represent a wide range both geographically and in terms of product. The majority of the ten nominated hotels reflect the growing trend toward smaller properties. Michael Widmann, jury member and Global CEO of PKF hospitality group
