Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Downtown Vancouver has appointed Maykel Escalona as its new managing director.
Previously serving as acting resort manager at Rosewood Miramar Beach, Escalona brings over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality. Before Rosewood Miramar Beach, he served as resort manager of Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, and hotel manager at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel.

Before joining Rosewood, Maykel held senior leadership positions at renowned properties including Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, The Beekman in New York, 1 Hotel South Beach and Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
