Arabian Travel Market is to host a dedicated travel technology show at its 2026 event.

Demos, augmented experiences, immersive technology, robotics, fintech and green technology will be displayed in a dedicated Tech & Innovation Hub, which will host some 180 exhibitors from 30 countries across two halls during the Dubai event in May.

Discussions on artificial intelligence, immersive commerce, cybersecurity and green innovation will take place between tech leaders, founders and futurists on the Future Stage, which will also host the Start-up Pitch Battle.

ATM Travel Tech has been a feature of ATM for years, but the 2026 event will see it branch out into a dedicated space, reflecting the high growth of the sector.

The focus on technology has been highlighted in the theme of ATM 2026, Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology.

It hopes to explore ‘how groundbreaking solutions are transforming the way journeys are envisioned, booked and experienced’.

Travel tech companies such as Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus, HBX Group, Juniper Consulting, WebBeds, Infinios Financial Services and Travog Expense Technologies are lined up to take part.

Hundreds of innovators and scale-ups are set to join them, focused on areas like AI, automation, payments, mobility and next-gen customer experience.

Danielle Curtis, exhibition director Middle East, at Arabian Travel Market, said: “As travel technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, we have evolved the scale, ecosystem and offering of ATM Travel Tech to a fully co-located event.

“Technology is no longer just a supporting element in travel; it is now central to how the entire journey is imagined, delivered, and improved. ATM Travel Tech will serve as a meeting place for the minds and technologies that are reshaping our sector and beyond.”

The global travel technology market is projected to grow by more than six per cent in the last year, according to data specialists Research and Markets, which valued the sector at US$10.7 billion in 2024. This rate of growth could see it valued at US$18.6 billion by 2033.

According to a recent Kaspersky survey, 84 per cent of respondents plan to use AI for future travel.

“Our goal is to ignite a dialogue among creators, investors, and operators, advancing the

conversation into the coming decade,” Curtis added.

Destinations, airlines, hospitality brands, technology providers, media, and policymakers are among the 55,000 industry professionals from 166 countries expected to attend WTM, now in its 33rd year with more than 2,800 exhibiting companies.

The event takes place from 4–7 May 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
