Simplifying MCP: The bridge between AI agents and hotel systems

One of the biggest frustrations in hospitality tech?
👉 Systems that don’t talk to each other.

Hotels already run on APIs, but they’re often too technical for non-engineers to use. That’s where MCP (Model Context Protocol) comes in.
Instead of building long, costly integrations, AI agents can now understand and act on hotel data directly. You just prompt an agent, and it knows what to do.

I had the pleasure of diving into this topic with Sam Weston from Hotel Speak, unpacking how MCP unlocks the next phase of hotel tech evolution.

We see this as the foundation for what we call the Agent Factory: a new initiative that allows hotels to bring us their ideas, and together we help design and launch AI agents.

The next era of hotel tech isn’t about more apps, it’s about smarter collaboration between humans, AI agents, and open platforms.
