Hilton (NYSE: HLT) will further expand its lifestyle presence in Türkiye this month with the opening of Canopy by Hilton Izmir Bomonti, the brand’s second property in the country and a new design-led destination within the Mahall Bomonti complex.

This 191-room hotel will offer guests and locals a blend of modern amenities with locally inspired design in the charming city of Izmir. Guest rooms are inspired by the Aegean region’s natural textures and colours, while locally influenced dining venues and vibrant social spaces will reflect the spirit of the Bomonti neighbourhood – a historic area reborn as a cultural and social hub.

Canopy by Hilton Izmir Bomonti joins Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim as the latest additions to Hilton’s lifestyle portfolio in Türkiye, following the debut of Tapestry Collection by Hilton earlier this year and continued expansion under Curio Collection by Hilton. Hilton’s lifestyle category is experiencing record global growth and now represents a fifth of Hilton’s pipeline, with more than 400 lifestyle hotels already trading.

By the end of 2025, Hilton will have opened four lifestyle properties across its Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Tapestry Collection by Hilton brands in Türkiye, with a further nine lifestyle hotels in development, including Hilton’s first cave hotel in Cappadocia and several new openings in Istanbul and Izmir.

There are a further nine lifestyle hotels in development across Türkiye, with five set to open next year including Hilton´s first cave hotel, Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton, Porto Chiara Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton, Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton, Palazzo Donizetti Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Myrna Izmir Konak, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

The new property joins Hilton’s wider European portfolio of nearly 90 lifestyle hotels, including the recently opened Palacio de Godoy Caceres, Curio Collection by Hilton, located in a restored former 16^th century palace in Extremadura, Spain, Rosetta Hotel Perugia, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Italy, and Hotel Preko Ugljan Island, Curio Collection by Hilton, a resort hotel located on an island close to the coast of Zadar, Croatia.
