Scheduled to open in April 2026 in Charleston’s historic district, Live Oak Charleston will introduce a wellness-forward expression of Lowcountry hospitality as South Carolina’s first and only Tribute Portfolio hotel. The 120-room boutique property will blend simple, modern design with an authentic sense of place, offering guests a serene retreat rooted in Charleston’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Live Oak’s design is inspired by nature, with airy guestrooms, natural woods, and soft textures creating a calming atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows and native vegetation reinforce a strong connection to the outdoors, while a second-floor pool lounge with cabanas, daybeds, and a floating stairwell will provide a relaxed, sunlit gathering space above the city streets.

Wellness sits at the heart of the guest experience. A state-of-the-art fitness center, luxury spa services, and curated movement and mindfulness programming will offer a holistic approach to wellbeing. From guided outdoor activities to restorative treatments, Live Oak aims to help guests slow down and reconnect to what matters most.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Terra, will honor Lowcountry culinary traditions through a flexitarian lens. The Mediterranean-inspired, vegetable-forward menu will evolve with the seasons and spotlight locally sourced ingredients, complemented by farm-to-shaker cocktails. Designed as a neighborhood favorite as much as a hotel restaurant, Terra will serve as a warm, social extension of Live Oak’s wellness ethos.

Poolside venue Bloo will add another distinctive dimension to the hotel’s culinary offering, inviting guests to unwind over handcrafted cocktails and shareable dishes influenced by Asian and Middle Eastern flavors, alongside sushi.
