Preferred Hotels expands with 11 new luxury properties

Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the independent hotel brand, has added 11 new member properties to its global portfolio between October 1 and December 31, 2024. The hotels span locations from Panama to Spain.

To mark the expansion, members of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program can earn 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays at participating locations for a limited time.

Gamboa Rainforest Reserve.

New Additions:

  • Gamboa Rainforest Reserve (Gamboa, Panama) – Lifestyle Collection
    Located along the Chagres River in Panama’s jungle, this resort has 166 rooms and suites with private balconies. Activities include aerial tram rides, wildlife tours, kayaking on the Panama Canal and cultural visits with indigenous communities.
  • Hotel Magnolia (Santiago, Chile) – L.V.X. Collection
    This 40-room boutique hotel in Santiago’s historic district combines historic architecture with modern amenities. Features include a rooftop terrace with city views and curated cultural experiences like guided tours and wine tastings.
  • Aurika Udaipur – Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels (Udaipur, India) – Lifestyle Collection
    Situated on a hilltop overlooking Udaipur, this hotel has 139 rooms with marble accents and private balconies. It offers traditional folk performances, regional dining and wellness treatments.
  • Hotel Kitzhof – Mountain Design Resort (Kitzbühel, Austria) – L.V.X. Collection
    This Austrian Alps hotel has 160 rooms with rustic modern design. Guests can access five dining venues, a spa, an indoor pool and outdoor activities like skiing and hiking.
  • César Lanzarote (La Asomada, Spain) – L.V.X. Collection
    Located in La Geria Natural Park, this adults-only hotel has 20 rooms with ocean or volcanic views. Amenities include an on-site vineyard, wellness treatments and outdoor activities such as horseback riding and yoga.

  • Hotel Las Islas (Cartagena, Colombia) – L.V.X. Collection
  • L’Ermitage Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, Calif.) – Legend Collection

These additions expand Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ presence in key global destinations. The hotel brand has more than 600 hotels, resorts and residences across 80 countries.
