With a goal to increase its global portfolio with 35 new hotels worldwide by the end of 2028, Hyatt Centric is introducing new properties that provide a base for exploration in key destinations around the world.

Expanding presence across Europe

Europe remains a central focus for Hyatt Centric’s development. Several new openings are set to redefine urban stays across the continent:

  • Hyatt Centric Reims (expected to open in 2025): Located near the Notre Dame Cathedral, this property will offer canal views and three French restaurants, embracing the rich cultural heritage of the Champagne region.
  • Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg (expected to open in 2026): As the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Germany, it will be situated on Moenckebergstrasse. Moreover, a panoramic rooftop restaurant and bar will provide city views.
  • Hyatt Centric Reykjavik (expected to open in 2026): Marking the brand’s debut in Iceland, this centrally located hotel will feature a rooftop bar overlooking the capital, providing a base for exploring Reykjavik’s culture and nature.
  • Hyatt Centric Malta (recently opened): The first Hyatt Centric in Malta brings locally inspired design to this Mediterranean destination.

“As part of our strategic brand realignment and bringing more focused expertise and support to five distinct brand portfolios, the Hyatt Centric brand serves as a fantastic addition to our Classics Portfolio, a group of captivating brands offering timeless style and unrivaled care in the world’s most-traveled places,” “The brand’s recent growth, including openings and planned developments, meets the rising demand from guests and members, especially Millennial and Gen Z travelers, for more contemporary accommodations with playful details, sophisticated furnishings and socially connected spaces.” – Emily Wright, Vice President, Global Brand Leader for Hyatt’s Classics & Essentials Portfolios.
