Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has unveiled its latest prototype for Sonesta Simply Suites that features a more “practical” design that the company says will enhance guest comfort while simultaneously maintaining operational efficiency for owners. It offers two scalable configurations: a four-story layout with 122 keys and a three-story layout with 89 keys.

“The Sonesta Simply Suites brand continues to evolve to better serve the needs of extended stay guests, and this new prototype reflects that commitment,” said Bridget Rooks, VP of architecture, design & construction at Sonesta. “The thoughtful design maximizes space, improves functionality, and focuses on guest comfort, making it an ideal solution for both developers and travelers.”

Each suite is designed with practicality in mind, featuring in-suite kitchens, ergonomic workspaces and ample storage space. Public areas include a 24/7 grab-and-go market, a fitness center, guest laundry facilities and outdoor spaces for relaxation. The back-of-house layout supports operational efficiency by streamlining staffing needs and reducing costs for hotel owners.

“This new prototype is built for long-term success,” said Brian Quinn, CDO at Sonesta. “It provides a cost-effective, scalable option for developers while offering a high-quality stay for guests.”

Sonesta Simply Suites focuses on offering apartment-style accommodations that cater to guests who need to settle in for extended periods. The suites are equipped with functional kitchens and designated workspaces, making it easy for guests to manage both their personal and professional needs. The brand’s friendly, attentive service further contributes to a smooth, seamless stay.

This new prototype underscores Sonesta’s dedication to growing its extended stay segment, offering a design that delivers both efficiency and comfort. It is aimed at developers looking for adaptable, cost-effective solutions, while providing an enhanced experience for guests staying for longer durations.

Sonesta Simply Suites continues to expand its footprint across the U.S., providing flexible and practical options for travelers. With the new prototype, the brand is positioning itself as a key player in the extended stay hotel sector.

In conclusion, the introduction of this new prototype reflects Sonesta’s response to the growing demand for extended stay accommodations. The design balances the needs of developers with the expectations of today’s travelers, offering a practical solution for long-term stays.
