The Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest which has officially opened its doors, is situated at the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard. The hotel which combines historical significance with contemporary luxury, provides an offer for both local and international guests.

Historic location with contemporary amenities

The hotel is located in a restored building that dates back to 1873 and was originally one of Bucharest’s most distinguished hotels. Known for being the first in the city to introduce electric lighting and an elevator, it has since hosted notable guests, including royalty and dignitaries. Today, the hotel is recognized as a national monument by the Romanian Ministry of Culture and continues to serve as a key landmark in the city.

Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest offers 30 exclusive suites,  that combine traditional and modern design elements, with contemporary amenities, while the hotel’s focus is on personalized services.

Dining options

The hotel includes three dining venues:

– Boulevard 73: Located in the former grand ballroom, the restaurant offers a menu blending French and Romanian cuisines. It focuses on using seasonal ingredients in a farm-to-table philosophy.
– Sass’ Restaurant & Lounge: This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, an extension of the well-known Sass’ Café Monaco, serves a variety of dishes, including Wagyu Beef and Caviar. The space transforms into a venue with resident DJs in the evenings.
– Heritage Bar: This venue takes inspiration from Bucharest’s rich history.

Wellness facilities

The Corinthia Spa offers a range of wellness facilities, including a relaxation room, an equipped gym, and two private treatment rooms. Guests can enjoy a variety of treatments and experiences, including those with the 111SKIN brand. The spa also offers thermal experiences, such as a Himalayan salt wall sauna and a multi-sensory shower with aromatherapy.

Design and cultural engagement

The restoration project was overseen by QP, with interiors designed by the GA Design, creating a mix of Belle Époque and contemporary elements.
