Adding voice AI technologies is at the top of many restaurant operators’ technology to-do list. 50% of operators say that voice-enabled technologies top their list of emerging technologies they’re already using or planning to implement in the near future, according to HT’s 2025 Restaurant Technology Survey
Lauricella shared the top challenges facing restaurants today. (2:50) Restaurants continue to face challenges when trying to hire and retain employees. AI helps lessen the load for existing employees, enabling them to focus on food quality and deliver outstanding customer service, he says. Employees like working with AI solutions; they help create a calmer work environment, Lauricella explains.
