A transformation of the former Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, the resort will open with 118 refined guestrooms and 64 suites—each with a private pool. Set within 148 acres of protected mangroves and freshwater canals, guests will find a considered blend of privacy and local immersion—from outdoor treatments and regional healing rituals at the spa to culinary concepts shaped by the land and sea and unique masterclasses with local experts. DESIGN

Rooted in Mayan tradition, Alila Mayakoba’s design integrates locally sourced and reclaimed materials, onsite organic gardens, in land and oceanfront swimming pools, and a nature-forward aesthetic to create a holistic experience centered around wellness, sustainability, and cultural connection.
Fully renovated guestrooms and suites feature private pools, organic textures, and spa-inspired bathrooms designed as personal sanctuaries among the mangroves.
Arrival experience reimagined as a serene cenote-inspired welcome space with natural materials, layered greenery, and artisanal elements that reflect Mayan heritage.
