The new 12-story hotel spans 17,300 square meters and is situated in the growing Vervet district. The hotel’s design incorporates sustainable elements, such as carpets made from recycled fishing nets and features like a heated rooftop running track, offering year-round use. It is also certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and follows the BREEAM Excellent standard, ensuring high sustainability in its construction and operations.

In addition to its design, The Dock 69°39 by Scandic offers a rooftop bar, a wellness area with a sauna, and a restaurant on the 10th floor ( Upper Dock Brasserie & Bar), alongside eight conference and meeting rooms.
Scandic Hotels has continued its expansion across Scandinavia with several new developments in Sweden. In Stockholm, Scandic has expanded its portfolio with the opening of Scandic Go Sankt Eriksgatan 20, the second property under its Scandic Go brand. With 234 rooms, the hotel offers an affordable accommodation option for travelers exploring Stockholm’s attractions. These moves reflect Scandic’s commitment to broadening its footprint in key Scandinavian markets, catering to both urban and leisure travelers.
This new property is Scandic’s third signature hotel in Norway, continuing the brand’s expansion across Scandinavia.
