Garner Hotels, in partnership with Palm Holdings has officially debuted in Scotland with the opening of Garner Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket. This 195-room property is located in Edinburgh’s West End, strategically positioned near key landmarks like Haymarket Station, Edinburgh Castle, Murrayfield Stadium, and Princes Street, making it an ideal base for visitors to the city.
The hotel’s opening coincides with the start of Edinburgh’s summer festival season, from the renowned Fringe Festival to the International Film Festival. As part of the Garner brand’s expansion across Europe, this new addition aims to provide reliable, comfortable accommodations at an accessible price point, with a focus on simplicity and value for guests.

The hotel offers contemporary amenities including plush bedding, black-out blinds, 24/7 snack access, and grab-and-go breakfast options. Additionally, the hotel has partnered with the local favorite, Platform 5, to provide guests with breakfast and exclusive food with drink discounts.

Garner Hotels, launched in 2023 as IHG’s midscale conversion brand, focuses on providing reliable and affordable stays with essential comforts. With this in mind, the Edinburgh property will feature modern amenities, including a Bar/To Go café offering snacks and breakfast.

As part of IHG’s ongoing social responsibility initiatives, Garner Hotel Haymarket Edinburgh will contribute to the fight against hunger through a partnership with Action Against Hunger. For a limited time, the hotel will donate £1 for each guest stay. This initiative is aligned with IHG’s broader partnership to combat food insecurity worldwide.
Additionally, the property has partnered with local organizations such as the City of Edinburgh Council and Bethany Trust to provide temporary accommodation during the pandemic.

Also, this new addition come just a few weeks after the group announced the debut of this brand on the UK market with the opening of Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury in England.
