Search is dying. Asking is taking over.

Travelers aren’t typing keywords into boxes anymore. They’re talking. To #Claude. To #ChatGPT. To AI agents that interpret intent, understand nuance, and return answers. Page one listings and rankings will matter less and less.

This is a huge shift. If a hotel isn’t structured for discovery through AI, it becomes invisible. That’s why we released the hospitality industry’s first-ever report on what really drives visibility in the AI-powered travel search era.
These findings are unreal, albeit not surprising:

 – Traffic to travel sites from AI sources is up 1,700% YoY
– 50% of search is now conversational, driven by large language models
We studied how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini actually recommend hotels across 6 global cities and 800+ prompts. What showed up over and over?
You’ll have to read the report to find out.

At Cloudbeds, we’re building for the future of this generative engine optimization(GEO):

✅ Cloudbeds Websites are optimized for AI and traditional search
✅ Our Reputation Management suite helps hoteliers boost reviews (with AI assistance!)
🔜 Coming soon: structured data signals and integrations with AI agents like ChatGPT
