Designed by Philippe Starck, the hotel will offer a blend of luxury, contemporary design, and gastronomy, making it a significant addition to the city’s hospitality sector.

The “Oh Baby” hotel is set to be a focal point of the urban revitalization in Dunkirk. The project is part of a broader plan to transform the city’s coastline, including the development of an additional 3 km of the seawall, the creation of a “dune dike” stretching 800 meters to the east, and the establishment of a green loop linking the new district to the upper canal promenade. This redevelopment focuses on enhancing public spaces, fostering sustainability, and promoting soft mobility.

With its location close to the marina, the hotel will be at the heart of the revitalized waterfront. The rooftop restaurant, helmed by Cyril Lignac, will offer panoramic views, further elevating the hotel’s status as a top-tier destination in Dunkirk. This new development is poised to attract both leisure and business travelers, contributing to the growing appeal of the area.

This project also aligns with Dunkirk’s broader urban regeneration goals, including improved access to the waterfront, the promotion of green spaces, and a focus on sustainable development. It is a clear reflection of Dunkirk’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a dynamic and forward-thinking destination in northern France.

The “Oh Baby” hospitality concept, developed by the Trigano family in collaboration with renowned designer Philippe Starck, marks a new chapter in the family’s ongoing influence on the hospitality industry. Set to be supported financially by Atream, the project promises to blend a unique design with a high-quality guest experience. As an innovative concept, “Oh Baby” will offer unique and memorable stays, elevating the traditional approach to hospitality through modern aesthetics and thoughtful design.

The partnership with Philippe Starck ensures that the concept will feature distinctive, signature touches that highlight both luxury and creativity. With this project, the Trigano family aims to expand their footprint in the upscale hospitality market, introducing a fresh concept that will appeal to both leisure and business travelers seeking a unique, design-forward experience.
