Snowpine Lodge, a boutique hotel in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, has announced the appointment of Eric Hagman as general manager. Hagman brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to his new role, with a focus largely on the Mountain West region.
Most recently, Hagman served as the general manager of Park Plaza Resort, part of Choice’s Ascend Hotel Collection, in Park City, Utah. During his tenure, he oversaw and unveiled a property-wide renovation. Previously, he served as director of lodging at Solitude Mountain Resort in Brighton, Utah.
Hagman also spent 13 years with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, holding a variety of management and leadership positions. These included area general manager for four properties across Colorado and Arizona; general manager of the brand’s Utah collection, where he opened two ski-in/ski-out hotels; and director of resort operations for six Club Wyndham Resorts in Utah.
“I am honored to be joining the team at Snowpine Lodge and look forward to building upon the legacy of this historic hotel,” said Hagman. “Snowpine continues to evolve and invest in the guest experience, from added culinary and wellness offerings to creating new ways for families to connect with the surrounding nature and each other. It’s a truly magical year-round resort unlike anything else in the area, and I’m excited for all that’s in store as we head into this ski season celebrating Alta Ski Area’s 88th anniversary.”
Snowpine Lodge, operated by Davidson Resorts, offers ski-in/ski-out access to the renowned Alta Ski Area. The hotel is located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
