“We are delighted to have gained Nicolai Scheugenpflug, an F&B specialist who, with his experience and passion, will further develop the dining experience in our hotels and provide new impetus.” – Stefanie Brandes, COO of the Dorint Hotel Group
The position covers all three of Dorint’s brands—Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection, and Essential by Dorint—ensuring consistent, high-quality F&B offerings across the group.
Nicolai Scheugenpflug brings extensive industry experience, having held senior positions at Meatery GmbH, Seaside Group, The ASH Steakhouse, Sausalitos Holding GmbH, and Lido Gastronomie GmbH. Certified as a “System Catering Specialist” trainer since 2017, he has a proven track record in conceptual F&B development, operations management, and process optimization.
“My goal is, firstly, to strengthen the profitability of the F&B sector in a targeted and sustainable manner; after all, business success is not in conflict with quality and guest orientation. Through precise control of inventory and processes, I want to increase operational efficiency while simultaneously creating scope for innovation and further development. Secondly, it is personally important to me to create structures that truly help the establishments in their day-to-day operations – practical, transparent, and sustainable,” – Nicolai Scheugenpflug, Director Corporate F&B at Dorint Hotel Group
“For a hotel group of our size, the strategic orientation and implementation of F&B concepts plays an essential and overriding role. Workflows, personnel planning, and inventory management must be regularly reviewed and adapted to new requirements. With his many years of F&B expertise and innovative approaches, Nicolai Scheugenpflug will support his colleagues in the hotels in developing their full potential without losing sight of the needs of our guests.” – Stefanie Brandes, COO of the Dorint Hotel Group
The appointment reflects Dorint’s broader strategy to enhance profitability, efficiency, and guest experience across its properties.
